The technology we use in our Private Eye Care Plan can benefit everyone. It gives us a clear picture of the health of your eyes and helps us monitor even the smallest
changes over time.
The private plan could be particularly helpful to you if you:
• Are aged 60 or over
• Have diabetes
• Have glaucoma or are at a higher risk of developing glaucoma.

Advanced eye test
Our 40-minute advanced eye test takes twice as long and is twice as thorough as the current NHS test.
We take a 12-Mega Pixel photograph of your retina during every eye test. The photographs help us to detect even the smallest changes in your eyes before they become noticeable to you.
An in-depth analysis of your eyes, providing data that is so unique to you, it’s comparable to a fingerprint.
This machine calculates an individualised prescription at 1500 points across your pupil and is 75% more accurate than a traditional test. It’s used to prescribe Zeiss i.Scription lenses.
High quality Zeiss lenses, personalised for your eyes. As well as correcting your vision, the lenses can improve your colour perception and help you see better in low light situations.
This allows us provide a more accurate prescription by studying how light enters your eyes. It also helps us to fit you with the best and most comfortable contact lenses – if you need them.

NHS or Private Eyecare ? Which is better for me?
Private Eye Care Plan
You are entitled to a free NHS sight test if you :
- Are aged 60 or under 16
- Are aged 16-18 and are still in full time education
- Are blind or partially sighted
- Need complex lenses
- Have been diagnosed with diabetes or glaucoma
- Are over 40 and have a family history of glaucoma
- Are claiming certain benefits
However, you should be aware that the NHS test is not your only Option. There are better and more technically advanced testing methods available to you, through out private Eye care plan.

Paying monthly makes our plans affordable. You can access all the benefits of your plan and spread the cost over the whole year.
