Multifocal Soft Contact Lenses

As we all get older, the crystalline lens inside your eyes becomes less flexible, which means it becomes difficult to focus on objects close to you.  This condition is called presbyopia.  Now, our technologically advanced multifocal contact lenses allow you to see in the distance as well as close-up.

Multifocal contact lenses are designed with a gradual change in prescription between close and distance viewing.   The most common design is a set of concentric circles of lens powers for the different viewing distances.  These powers are normally blended.   Your natural viewing experience means the pupil size varies depending on which distance you are looking hence covering different concentric ring powers.

Multifocal contact lenses are available as soft daily disposable contact lenses, which can be worn occasionally.  They are also available as a two weekly and monthly contact lens for those who like to wear them more frequently.
